Multi-Parameter Monitors

Multi-Parameter Monitors

Multi-parameter monitors are designed to measure and keep track of targeted medical parameters such as electrical activity of the heart (ECG), the amount of oxygen in the blood (SpO2), non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), respiratory rate (RESP), and body temperature (TEMP). These are generally equipped with powerful microprocessors that are ideal for monitoring applications and real-time systems. Most multi-parameter monitors can target up to four or five medical parameters in their standard configuration, and can accommodate more with the addition of optional monitoring channels and external modules. Some models can integrate into a local area network for enhanced documentation and to facilitate remote observation. Either at bedside or mobile, multi-parameter monitors help physicians deliver effective treatment over a broad range of clinical settings.
