The GE OEC 9900 C-Arm is a mobile medical imaging device typically used in diagnostic and surgical applications in OR, ER, ICU, and pain management centers. A generation more advanced than the GE OEC 9800 C-Arm model, it combines the best features that characterized and made the older C-Arm model effective in the field with the new features and technology native to the 9900 to produce clear and high-resolution film radiographs and fluoroscopic images.
The GE OEC 9900 C-Arm is a mobile X-Ray imaging system configured for diagnostic and surgical applications. The 9900 combines flexibility, precision, agility, versatility, and power for enhanced utilization in the fields of Pain Management, General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Neurovascular, and Cardiac Surgeries. The 9900 C-Arm can be used to perform diagnostic or interventional procedures in the ER, OR, ICU, or pain management centers. It is equipped with a SmartView off-axis pivot joint for accurate and precise positioning. It is also provided with SmartMetal, SmartWindow, and AutoTrak Technology which can automatically adjust the contrast and brightness for increased image resolution. It is also equipped with a DVD/CDR/USB tech which replaces the old floppy drives. The 9900 takes unparalleled film radiographs and fluoroscopic since it uses the enhanced Video Imaging System equipped with a Tri-mode Image Intensifier, and a 1004x1004-pixel, high-resolution video camera capable of 360-degree rotation and full-frame capture. This mobile scanning device uses articulated, detachable flat screen LCD monitors equipped with a next-generation, more responsive touchscreen tech. These new monitors provide users with a larger viewing area, enhanced resolution, and brightness, and expanded image storage. The C-Arm can be used for extended periods of time due to the patented energy buffer design. It also has a built-in monitoring system to regulate the cooling and heating of the system. The X-Ray Tube has a rotating anode, a focal spot that is in range of 0.3mm and 0.6mm, and an upgraded cooling fan that further prolongs the utilization time of the medical device.
