Optimized for ease-of-use, safety, and flexibility, the Mark V ProVis is configured for use in contrast enhancement in a wide range of applications. The utilization and control flexibility of the Mark V ProVis have been improved. Based on the procedure being performed, the clinicians have system control from either the suite or the control room. The ProVis is also provided with a table mounting capability that gives the medical personnel greater and easier access in the suite. This flexibility also allows the users to customize their workflow depending on the procedure requirement. The Mark V ProVis is provided with large and bright control panels for improved readability at a distance. It is also equipped large and secure handle and oversized wheels which allows the device to be easily moved. The syringe volume is constantly updated and can be viewed and read easily. The ProVis also has common protocols which can be stored quickly to save setup time. All these features make the Mark V ProVis easy to use. The safety is also improved. The Mark V ProVis is equipped with a microprocessor that helps to protect against over-volume, over-volume, and over-pressure. It is also provided with a mechanical stop which automatically sets and locks to the limit of the injection. The mechanical stop is also unaffected when there is an electrical failure.
