Flexible Light Sources

Flexible Light Sources

Flexible light sources provide critical illumination during endoscopic procedures. These light sources are necessary components of an endoscopic imaging system and use various lighting technology to produce high definition images with natural colors. Flexible light sources are equipped with convenient lamplife meters that can effectively forecast an upcoming lamp replacement. Some light sources have a secondary emergency lamp to help in completing an ongoing procedure even when the primary lamp fails. Advanced features of flexible light sources are: filters that support Narrow Band Imaging for higher diagnostic accuracy, automatic adjustment of light density for videos and optimum exposure for still images, and a malfunction indicator. Flexible light sources are an indispensable part of a highly efficient endoscopy imaging system.
