Video Laryngoscopes

Video Laryngoscopes

Video laryngoscopes are medical instruments used to facilitate tracheal intubation during general anesthesia or cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Video laryngoscopes make use of camera blades that can connect to a compatible video monitor, and hold the camera, LED light source, and an anti-fogging mechanism. A single-use blade is attached to a re-usable baton during use and disposed of afterwards, while a reusable blade has an integrated camera system and can undergo reprocessing procedures. Different blades are employed for different body types for better efficiency and pinpoint precision. Video Laryngoscopes are an important tool for any anesthesiologist.
