This easy-to-grip, durable, and economically designed Reciprocating Saw uses the Stryker SmartLIFE Batteries that is configured to improve the shelf life and operational life of the device’s batteries while also preventing overexposure to heat. The safety and reliability of the surgical saw have also been improved since the surgical saw can store, transfer, and analyze data to enable SORN Remote Device Management. The sagittal head design of the Stryker System 7 Reciprocating Saw has also been improved to allow the blades to be loaded and secured via an easier process. The innovated rotary handpiece uses a triathlon attachment that decreases the distance to the surgical site to provide surgeons with improved field of vision and maneuvering room. This device is backwards compatible with legacy batteries, attachments, and cutting accessories allowing the operating cost and maintenance cost to be reduced.
