The Physio Control Lifepak 15 Defibrillator (Stryker has now purchased Physio Control) is an innovative and durable device that delivers life-saving electric shocks for patients during sudden cardiac arrest. It has an 8.4-inch dual-mode display screen with SunVue technology for enhanced patient data visibility. It passed 30-foot drop tests with and IP44 (can withstand environmental changes) rating.
The Stryker Physio Control Lifepak 15 Defibrillator is lightweight, compact, yet durable enough to withstand 30-foot drops as well as changing environments from wind, rain, and dirt. It even has an incorporated shock-absorbing handle and cot handles. Its Masimo Rainbow technology helps detect hard-to-diagnose conditions and provides non-invasive monitoring for optional parameters including CO, SPO2, and methemoglobin. It also offers optional etCO2 with continuous waveforms, non-invasive pacing, and 3-lead ECGs. It offers temperature monitoring and this information can be transmitted to other systems, trend or displayed for post-event review with the Code Stat software. This device has both Manual and AED modes, featuring a 360 Joule-Biphasic Technology for difficult-to-defibrillate patients. It continuously monitors all 12 leads and alerts changes using the ST-Segment Trend feature. This can also work with the LifeNet System so critical patient data can be shared automatically to several patient-care teams. Its long-lasting lithium-ion battery has a smart technology that alerts the users when the battery life is running low. It has a CPR Metronome that uses audible prompts in giving clinically-proven efficient CPR guides. Data connectivity is possible by connecting to ePCR and other systems or via one-touch bluetooth connection. With Stryker acquiring Physio Control, Stryker defibrillators now have the backing and support of these two very reputable OEM's combined.
