The Zeiss OPMI Visu 210 is a precision surgical microscope for Ophthalmic applications. Designed with improved depth of field, resolution, and contrast, the compact and easy-to-use Visu 210 takes advantage of the time-tested Zeiss optical system to deliver unparalleled high-resolution images which help surgeons in tackling routine procedures or even the most demanding surgical procedures in the field of Ophthalmology, such as for Cataract and Vitreo-Retinal surgeries.
The Zeiss OPMI Visu 210 is a surgical microscope developed by Carl Zeiss Meditec. It is specifically designed for use in the field of Ophthalmology, such as for such as for Cataract and Vitreo-Retinal surgeries. It utilizes the proven Carl Zeiss optical technology to improve the depth of field, resolution, and contrast. Equipped with the 0 to 180 degree inclinable binocular, the Superlux Eye Xenon light source, and a versatile objective lens, the Visu 210 surgical microscope ensures that optimal illumination can be delivered to a specific area. Combined with the improved reach and maneuverability of the whole system, the surgical microscope can deliver the razor-sharp images expected from a medical device bearing the Zeiss optical system. The system relies on the motorized zooming and focusing functions to ensure smooth adjustment when the magnifier settings are changed. It also utilizes a foot switch that is designed to control a predetermined number of motor functions. The Visu 210 operating microscope is compatible with the S88 floor stand, the S81 floor stand, and the S8 Ceiling mount. These mounts can increase the functionality of the surgical microscope while also reducing the footprint of the whole system. The razor-sharp images, the enhanced positioning capability, and the ergonomically designed mounts are designed to improve the surgical workflow and provide the surgeons with optimum comfort while performing surgeries.
