The GE OEC 9600 C-Arm is a mobile X-ray system specifically designed for diagnostic and surgical applications. This versatile imaging system can take high-quality film radiographs in addition to fluoroscopic imaging which makes it ideal for use in pain management centers.
The GE OEC 9600 C-Arm is a mobile X-ray system configured to be used in diagnostic and surgical applications, such as Orthopedics, Vascular, and Neurovascular applications. The positioning versatility, accuracy, and flexibility of this mobile imaging system are enhanced by giving the C-Arm the ability to orbit through a 115-degree arc with respect to the cradle, and allowing the C-Arm to pivot on its cradle axis up to 180 degrees. This X-ray system can also adjust the C-Arm’s vertical orientation by utilizing the vertical lift that is native to the system. The vertical lift, like the L-arm which can be rotated 360 degrees, uses an internal motor that can be controlled and operated using the buttons provided in the C-Arm control panel. In addition, the back of the C-Arm is provided with an angular scale which helps improve the accuracy and precision with respect to positioning the C-Arm. The 9600 C-Arm can take excellent film radiographs and fluoroscopic images by utilizing an improved Video Imaging System equipped with a Tri-mode Image Intensifier, and a 512-pixel high-resolution video camera capable of full-frame capture. The images can be previewed using dual 16-inch square-shaped video monitors equipped with ambient room light sensor and remote controls. The resulting images can also be submitted to a thermal printer, an external DICOM box, or an Image Capture Device. The GE OEC 9600 C-Arm uses a high-frequency, 4.0kilowatt full-wave generator equipped with a patented energy buffer design for efficient power utilization and improved imaging accuracy. The X-Ray Tube has a focal spot in range of 0.3 and 0.6 millimeters, and equipped with an improved cooling fan that allows the system to be used for longer periods of time. The Collimator has dual opposing semi-transparent shutters for elliptical, round, and rectangular collimation, and can be controlled remotely from the C-Arm control panel.
