The Drager Fabius GS is a compact and flexible anesthesia machine that has a breathing system with advanced ventilation capacities. It's suitable for induction, operation, and recovery rooms with its wide range of ventilation capabilities.
Drager Fabius GS is a flexible anesthesia delivery system that has advanced ventilation capabilities and a reliable breathing system. It has an electronically driven and controlled ventilation system that requires no gas drive gas, making it more economical than gas-driven bellows ventilators. Its ergonomic design allows for strategic positioning for semi-closed breathing system that can be adjusted in height and position, and can be easily removed from the system, making assembly and set-up easier. It has the following modes which are all suitable for neonatal up to adult patients: Volume Controlled Ventilation, Pressure Controlled Ventilation, Synchronized Volume Control (SIMV), Pressure Support and Manual/Spontaneous modes. The machine can be customized according to different patient demands with its open-platform architecture with low-flow ventilation and standard mounting rails. Its MultiMed parameter module reduces cable clutter and its Inifinity Dock Station automatically reconfigures site-specific parameters. It has a Pick and Go design which allows the machine to provide continuous monitoring while giving users the option to choose between a fixed-mount monitoring solution or Pick and Go transport concept. The Infinity Omega gives a two-screen approach for simultaneous monitoring of patient data and clinical data. Web browser access is also optional for web-based applications. The following parameters can be continuously monitored: inspiratory O2, concentration, breathing frequency, tidal volume, minute volume, mean or plateau pressure, peak airway pressure as well as PEEP. When O2 pressure drops below 20 psi, audible alarms and flasing red LED alert the user. Gent delivery, gas delivery, and manual ventilation are still possible even during battery or power failure. Its built-in battery can operate around 45 minutes.
