The GE Vivid i Portable Ultrasound may be light and portable, but it is loaded with functions and features. Its TruScan technology provides high quality images and gathers reliable diagnostic data at the same time. With its TEE Imaging, it can cover a wide variety of clinical applications. Its highly portable design allows it to be used in numerous clinical environment.
The GE Venue 50 Portable Ultrasound is designed for both speed and powerful functionality with its gel-and-go scanning. The system takes just moments to start up, and a user needs only a probe and a preset function to initiate an examination. The system is equipped with advanced tools and its enhanced needle visibility ensures effective and safe ultrasound-guided interventional procedures. Its CrossXBeam technology combines three or more frames from different angles to form a single image, resulting to improved border definition and differentiation. Another function, the Speckle Reduction Imaging (SRI), is an embedded algorithm that reduces the effects of speckle or "noise" in an ultrasound image and results to smoother image quality. In addition, its wide range of transducers can meet different needs of scanning - superficial or deep, bony or soft, abdomen or finger, and even accommodate obese or frail patients. The GE Venue 50 is easy to clean and maintain, since there are no keys, knobs, buttons, and monitor frame to trap dirt and contaminants. Its user interface is convenient and easy: a user can tap, slide, or pinch through a procedure even with gloves on. A screen lock protects the system settings when there's a need to quickly wipe the screen, and this feature can also be programmed to limit unauthorized access. Its optional Docking Cart or Tabletop Docking Station enhances its point-of-care functions.
