What is Unique About the Genoray OSCAR Prime Flat Panel Detector C-Arm?

The Genoray OSCAR Prime Flat Panel was launched in 2018, as one of the new models in the OSCAR C-arm series from Genoray. It is designed to provide fluoroscopic images during diagnostic, surgical and interventional procedures in various clinical applications. These applications include cholangiography, endoscopy, urology, orthopedic, vascular, and critical care. It is equipped with an optimal flat panel detector with high-quality resolution and a wide field of view (FOV).

Flat panel detectors are alternatives to x-ray image intensifiers in fluoroscopy, and their higher sensitivity allows a lower dose of radiation to be used for imaging.

These are also lighter, more durable, more accurate with less image distortion, and can cover larger areas compared to conventional X-ray image intensifiers. Also, the thin physical size of C-arms using a flat panel detector allows improved patient accessibility for pediatric imaging. In terms of imaging technology, the Genoray OSCAR Prime Flat Panel is based on ZEN-2090 pro but with higher generator capacity of 5.3kW and integrates the upgraded X-ray of Genoray ZEN-5000. These two previous models have a proven stable and reliable performance on the market.

The Genoray OSCAR Prime Flat Panel has a detector size of 10.2 x 10.2 inches (26 x 26 centimeters) optimized to capture a lot of details due to its high-speed read out at high definition. It helps doctors make accurate diagnoses and is particularly effective in DSA (Digital Subtraction Angiography) with its low noise, low dose, and high contrast rate. It applies edge enhancement for superior image clarity, while its motion correction feature detects movement and reduces after-image or blur. Its metal correction feature also helps in image quality by working smart with metals present in the field of view, while its X-ray image processing algorithm reduces noise.

To maximize X-ray exposure, the Genoray OSCAR Prime Flat Panel is equipped with an intelligent X-ray dose management software. Its low dose mode is designed to obtain excellent quality images to diagnose patients with minimum dosage. It also has an autocollimation feature which prevents unnecessary X-ray exposure by focusing on a specific area of anatomy to be imaged, while its virtual collimator allows a user to specify a desired field of view and limiting the X-ray beam to that area. It also has a dose structured report feature which enables efficient workflow, improves care for patients, and enhances working conditions in healthcare facilities.

The Genoray OSCAR Prime Flat Panel also comes with a 10.4-inch convenient touch screen that enables easy image acquisition. A separate 34-inch display monitor that delivers superior image through high contrast, color range and resolution can be added to the system. Its embedded ZENIS software offers a total image management solution because aside from image acquisition and storage, it allows measurement, annotation, image manipulation (invert/rotate/zoom) and file sharing. Its DICOM 3.0 is a standard option and offers the largest storage capacity.

For safety and durable use, the Genoray OSCAR Prime is equipped with an active air cooling high-frequency generator. This generator is one of the most powerful in the world and prevents overheating while allowing long duration of operation with stable and accurate output. In addition, it has a compact body with a perfectly balanced C-Arm designed for ease of movement and operation.

With these design and features, the Genoray OSCAR Prime meets your diagnosis while improving your productivity.
