Digital Radiography
Digital radiography (DR) is a form of X-ray inspection that instantly produces digital images on a computer. It uses X-ray sensitive plates to capture data, which is immediately transferred to a computer. The X-ray radiation is converted into a digital image through a detector sensor. DR systems use active-matrix flat panels or linear detector arrays. The images are converted to digital data in real-time and are available for analysis within seconds.
