The Verathon Glidescope GVL 2 Camera Blade is built with an integrated high-resolution digital camera and LED lighting to provide clear visual feed from the anterior airways. It also has a built-in anti-fog mechanism that rapidly heats up to fight camera fogging during the intubation procedure. It is intended for procedures that accommodate diffent body sizes of patients which ranges form 8.8 to 44 pounds (4 to 20 kg). The reusable camera blade requires high level of disinfection after each use to eliminate microbes and ensure maximum safety to patients. The exposure process and times can vary depending on the liquid disinfectant used. The Verathon Glidescope GVL 2 Camera Blade can function safely up to 2000 cycles.
