The Olympus CV-100 Video Processor uses instantaneous single plate color chip technology that produces high resolution and true color imaging. The realistic live feed results to high accuracy, helping surgeons efficiently perform the needed endoscopic procedures. Its fast shutter speed also contributes to clear and sharp images. At normal setting, the shutter speed is set to 1/60 second. A shutter speed of 1/250 second can be selected to avoid blurred photographs when the videoscope is moving. It is also equipped with a hue adjustment feature, which finetunes the red and blue elements in an image. It is also equipped with Automatic Gain Control (AGC) feature, which electrically enhances an image when there is not enough light. This is useful in observing subjects that are too far from the distal end of a scope. The system also can keep up to 40 records of patients.
