The Newport HT70 Plus Ventilator is a versatile and extremely mobile mechanical ventilator configured to be used for home care settings, transport, hospital, long-term care, and emergency preparedness. The HT70 Plus is designed to give ventilation support to infant, pediatric, and adult patients with a weight of 5kg and up. The Newport ventilation system can also be used for invasive or non-invasive ventilation.
The Newport ventilator is a self-contained pressure/volume ventilator that eliminates the need for external compressed gas from a compressor or an air cylinder. Designed with a patented dual-piston gas generator and internal battery capability, that brings new meaning to mobile and portable ventilators. It is equipped with a Lithium Ion battery that can be fully recharged for 3 hours and provides up to 10 hours of operation at standard settings. This battery can be swapped without the need to stop the HT70 Plus' operation.
The Newport ventilator is equipped with an on-airway flow sensor which increases the options for ventilation. A Battery Time Estimator enables the medical personnel, health care providers, and technicians to determine the correct course of action when it comes swapping batteries. It has built-in oxygen monitoring and alarms configured to alert the users if changes or disruptions in the supplemental oxygen occur. It is also provided with a Cylinder Use Time Calculator which helps estimate how long oxygen will last when the patient is being transported.
The HT70 Plus is provided with a full-color touch screen that enhances the utilization efficiency of the ventilator. It provides easy access to all controls and allow for simple navigation. The ventilator is robust and durable allowing it to withstand rough treatment in different environments.
