The OrthoScan FD Pulse Mini C-Arm is a small, lightweight, easy-to-use mini C-Arm used in hospitals and clinics for diagnostic and surgical procedures. Featuring improved controls, an advanced touchscreen interface, a 24-inch high-resolution monitor, reduced radiation dosage, the largest flat detector equipped on a mini C-Arm, unparalleled orbital rotation freedom, and surgical LED lights, the FD Pulse is an imaging device well suited to handle even the most challenging of procedures.
Featuring the OrthoTouch, an advanced touchscreen interface, the FD Pulse Mini enables consistent operation of system controls by combining touchscreen functionality and keyboard functions. It is also equipped with a 24-inch high-brightness diagnostic widescreen monitor with 1920 x 1920 resolution. This widescreen monitor and the high-resolution gives the medical personnel unparalleled image quality and fine details of the anatomy in addition to the increased viewing angle and visibility.
The OrthoScan FD Pulse is also designed to lower the dose received by patients without losing image quality or detail when moving from continuous fluoroscopy to pulsed fluoroscopy of 30 pulses per second. It is also provided with the largest flat detector available for a mini C-Arm. This large detector enables the device to scan a bigger area while also giving the user a greater field of view. It also eliminates the need for rotating the detector which further increases the reliability of the device and reduces the set-up time for scanning.
The C-Arm of the FD Pulse is designed to have an orbital rotation of 150 degrees. This added rotational freedom allows the Pulse to cover a larger area without the need for adjusting the C-Arm or the corresponding parts. It also allows the medical personnel to scan hard-to-reach areas of the body without stressing the anatomy of the patient. The OrthoScan FD Pulse is also equipped with surgical lights that give additional lighting on the anatomy and eliminate the shadows from the C-Arm.
