The Pentax EPK-1000 Video Processor is equipped with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology which instantly adjusts and maximizes the color and illumination of the video signal to provide clear and high quality images. It uses a 100-watt high performance Xenon lamp as its integrated light source which delivers superior illumination. Its DSP also automatically adjusts colors, and enhances contours to aid surgeons when performing endoscopic examinations. It also connects to an external recording interface, allowing digital capture of bright and highly detailed videos and still images.
In addition, it has two USB ports for easy and quick transfer of captured still images. It can even record still images straight to a computer with the use of an optional software.
