The GE Senographe Essential is a digital imaging system designed to be used in hospitals and clinics for mammography applications. Configured for in-office or mobile screening, the Senographe Essential is a flexible and versatile breast imaging system that can improve the workflow efficiency and deliver high quality images.
The Essential is provided with the AOP, GE's top-of-the-line Automatic Exposure Control that can measure and select the exposure parameters based on the scanned breast anatomy. It is also provided with Premium View and Fine View designed to enhance the diagnostic image quality and the reading speed.
The Senographe Essential is equipped with the industry's largest field of view which allows the imaging system to image a wide range of breast sizes and allows the medical personnel to scan a large sized breast in a single exposure. The Essential also has a small footprint, an automated gantry, and a stereotactic application that allows the imaging system to handle a wide range of procedures.
The Essential can be upgraded to increase its capabilities, such as magnification, stereotaxy, and SenoBright contrast enhanced spectral mammography. This makes the Senographe Essential specifically well suited for screening, diagnostic, and interventional procedures focusing on mammography applications.
