The SonoSite C35x Ultrasound Probe is a convex array transducer type, operating at 8 to 3 MegaHertz with a scan depth of 15 centimeters and produces a trapezoidal field of view. It is used in abdominal ultrasound to help diagnose pain or distention and evaluate the gallbladder, liver, bile ducts, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, and abdominal aorta. It is also used in musculoskeletal ultrasound to help diagnose sprains, strains, tears, and other soft tissue conditions throughout the body. Additionally, it is used in nerve ultrasound for the diagnosis of peripheral nerve disorders, and in obstetric ultrasound (also known as a prenatal ultrasound scan) to screen for and diagnose birth defects or hereditary conditions. The SonoSite C35x Ultrasound Probe is compatible with the SonoSite SII ultrasound system.
