The Zimmer ATS 3000 Tourniquet Machine is designed to effectively occlude venous and arterial circulation, to block blood flow to a limb, thus creating a bloodless field. It is equipped with microprocessor controls that provide accuracy and allow quick adjustments to manual input or as a reaction to self-monitored conditions. Each time the unit is powered on, it checks the accuracy of its calibration thus saving setup time. It also prevents accidental deflation by its Cuff Lockout function, which prompts a user to confirm a deflation command during a procedure. In addition, the cuffs are color-coded for convenience and are easy to carry around.
