The SonoSite C60xp Ultrasound Probe is a curved array transducer type with a trapezoidal field of view. It operates at 5 to 2 MegaHertz with a scan depth of 30 centimeters. It is used in abdominal ultrasound to evaluate the gallbladder, liver, bile ducts, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, and abdominal aorta, as well as help diagnose pain or distention in these areas. It is also used in obstetric ultrasound (also known as a prenatal ultrasound scan) to screen for and diagnose birth defects or hereditary conditions, and gynecological ultrasound for quick examination of the female pelvic organs and structures such as the uterus, cervix, vagina, fallopian tubes and ovaries. Additionally, it is used in nerve ultrasound for the diagnosis of peripheral nerve disorders and musculoskeletal ultrasound to check soft tissue conditions throughout the body. The SonoSite C60xp Ultrasound Probe is compatible with the SonoSite M-Turbo and SonoSite X-Porte ultrasound systems.
