The SonoSite L52x Ultrasound Probe is a linear transducer that emits soundwaves from 10 to 5 MegaHertz and has a scan depth of 15 centimeters. It is used in veterinary ultrasound for arterial, musculoskeletal, and obstetrics applications. It helps detect and monitor pregnancies among large animals such as cows, horses, and pigs, and manage the process of reproduction more efficiently. It also helps provide a high level of biosecurity from infections and pathogens such as parvovirus, flu, salmonellosis, chlamydiosis, brucellosis, FMD, rotaviruses and circoviruses. It is built for use of breeders, insemination specialists, and veterinary doctors, and is compatible with the Sonosite Edge, SonoSite Edge II, SonoSite SII, and SonoSite M-Turbo ultrasound systems.
