The SonoSite rC60xi Ultrasound Probe is a convex array transducer that emits soundwaves from 5 to 2 MegaHertz and has a scan depth of 30 centimeters. It is ideally used in abdominal ultrasound to help diagnose pain or enlargement and evaluate internal organs in the upper abdomen. It is also used in obstetric ultrasound to screen for and diagnose birth defects or hereditary conditions, and gynecological ultrasound to visualize the female pelvic organs and structures including the uterus, cervix, vagina, fallopian tubes, and ovaries as well as the bladder, the adnexa, and the rectouterine pouch. In addition, it is used in nerve ultrasound for the diagnosis of peripheral nerve disorders, and musculoskeletal to evaluate muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints throughout the body. The SonoSite rC60xi is compatible with the Sonosite Edge II and SonoSite SII ultrasound systems.
