The Wallach TriStar is a versatile, compact, and mobile microscope for use in the field of Colposcopy. The TriStar colposcope is designed to deliver razor-sharp three-dimensional images that are needed to determine the subtle abnormalities in a tissue and to allow the medical personnel to perform biopsies and surgeries.
The TriStar Colposcope has a stereoscopic viewing with fixed three magnification setting (8x, 13x, and 21x). It is equipped with an integrated dual optical beamsplitter arranged to allow the attachment of 35-mm traditional and digital accessories, and video and co-observation/teaching tube. It can be provided with a USB video capability for EMR systems or for stand-alone use.
The Trulight Lighting System equipped in the TriStar colposcope is designed to provide a brighter illumination by using five long-life LEDs. The longevity of LEDs means that the need for replacing the illumination source is reduced. The lighting system and the aforementioned three-magnification setting enable the TriStar to deliver unparalleled images with a clarity that permit the detection of minute abnormalities in a tissue.
The overhead suspension system of the TriStar is designed to be easily adjustable and yet stable enough to provide a solid foundation. The suspension system allows for a full range of motion that can increase the range of the colposcope.
