The Varian 2100C is a powerful, reliable, and versatile linear accelerator designed for image-guided radiation therapy and radiosurgery. Equipped with Varian's premium technology, the 2100C can optimize the radiation delivery without unnecessarily harming the other organs near the target area. It can also be used for Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT).

The 2100C is equipped with the RapidArc technology that utilizes focused, sculpted beams of radiation to the tumor area while protecting the nearby healthy tissues and organ. The accelerator is also provided with the On-Board Imager (OBI) that can perform rapid imaging. The rapid imaging is combined with a powerful generator and a higher dose rate to reduce the treatment time, which, in turn, improves the safety factor for both the patient and the clinician.

The linear accelerator is provided with an 80-leaf MLC or 120-leaf MLC with a maximum photon dose rate of 600 MU/minute. The improved isocenter alignment of the gantry, couch, imagers, the stable and accurate positioning, and the enhanced collimator are combined to enable the medical personnel to tailor a treatment for a specific patient.

The Clinac 2100 C can also perform intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). The IMRT is configured for modulating and contouring the radiation beam to predetermined levels of intensity and shape based on the needs of the procedure.
