The Verathon Glidescope GVL 4 Camera Blade provides reliable live feed of a patient's airway. A high-resolution digital camera and LED lighting is integrated into the camera blade, while its other end is directly connected to the monitor. It also features a built-in anti-fog mechanism which prevents camera fogging during the intubation procedure. It is intended for procedures that accommodate diffent body sizes of patients which ranges form 88 pounds (40 kg) to morbidly obese patients. The reusable camera blade requires high level of disinfection after each use to ensure maximum safety. The exposure process and duration can vary depending on the liquid disinfectant used, and ends with a rinsing procedure. The Verathon Glidescope GVL 4 Camera Blade can safely deliver superb performance of up to 2000 cycles.
