Every MED Refurbished unit ships with a written MED warranty covering parts and labor. Terms run from 90 days to 24 months depending on the equipment and are stated on your quote. Extended coverage is available on most systems. Your warranty is with MED: one point of accountability from quote through the life of the coverage.

The Siemens Artiste is a state-of-the-art linear accelerator used in radiation therapy. Equipped with Siemens' premium and exclusive technology such as the MVCB Imaging, and CTVision, the Artiste is ideally equipped for handling Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Adaptive Radiation Therapy (ART), Intensive Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Conformal Radiation Therapy (CRT), and Stereotaxy (SRT).
The Artiste is equipped with the MVision Megavoltage Cone Beam (MVCB) Imaging, Siemen's Signature In-Line kVision Kilovoltage Cone Beam (KVCB) Imaging, and the CTVision for delivering high-quality images. The MVCB Imaging is configured to utilize the source for treatment and for imaging patient's 3D anatomy, offering unique possibilities for tumor visualization and alignment. The In-Line KVCB Imaging is adapted for providing unparalleled 3D soft-tissue contrast by visualizing the target in-line and streamlining imaging workflow. The CTVision is designed to deliver quick, high-contrast imaging procedure that allows for direct comparison of patient anatomy.
The linear accelerator also improves the patient comfort and patient safety. The Artiste is equipped with the 160 Multileaf Collimator (MLC) that provides improved conformity to the actual tumor shape which enables for delivering homegenous dose coverage regardless of the size of the tumor. The speed and low leakage of the 160 MLC can optimize the delivery by reducing patient on-table time and dose to normal tissue, which in, turn can improve the patient safety.
The Siemens Artiste is also equipped with the 550 TxT Treatment Table. The Treatment Table is designed to meet the demand for accuracy, stability, and precision. It can also accommodate a patient up to 550 pounds.
