The Olympus GIF-SV is a video gastroscope used for gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. It facilitates optical visualization, provides therapeutic access to the pharynges or the esophagi and reduces discomfort for patients during procedures.
The Olympus GIF-SV Video Gastroscope is used in gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. It is designed to facilitate detailed examinations in a manner that is more comfortable for the patient. It features an insertion tube with a diameter of 8.5 millimeters, an instrument channel with a diameter of 2.2 millimeters, and a working length of 1030 millimeters. These designs allow easy insertion and further decrease procedure time and improve patient comfort. The GIF-SV also features an ergonomically designed grip which can enhance the scope's maneuverability, while its easy-to-access control knobs improve its operability. It also features a 210-degree (up) and a 90-degree (down) angulation and a 120-degree angle of view that facilitates easier maneuvering and handling. The SV is compatible with the Olympus CV-200 and CV 240 video processors.
