The OrthoScan HD Mini C-Arm is a small, lightweight, easy-to-use mini C-Arm used in hospitals and clinics. Featuring a surgeon-driven design, improved controls, greater C-Arm mobility and arc depth, unique Boost imaging mode native to OrthoScan mini C-Arms, height-adjustable monitors, and enhanced imaging technology, the HD Mini is specifically tailored to be used in diagnostic and surgical applications in operation theaters where space is at a minimum.
The HD Mini has a greater arc depth and vertical rate than its competition. It is equipped with a Boost imaging mode, a feature unique to the OrthoScan Mini C-Arms, which allows for imaging larger anatomy such as large shoulders and knees. It is also provided with a 20.1-inch height-adjustable monitor and an infrared footswitch for imaging and documentation. These features further enhance the utilization efficiency of the HD Mini C-Arm as the monitor has the greatest horizontal range in its class while the Footswitch eliminates the need for the cord which can hamper the movement of the device and the medical personnel during operations or procedures.
This mobile X-ray imaging system is smaller and lighter than the competition. Its reduced size and weight allow the device to be easily and quickly moved, transported, and maneuvered to desired locations. It is also provided with an ergonomically designed and intuitive interface with a custom keyboard which allows the medical personnel to perform imaging with little instruction.
The greater display size of this digital imaging system allows the medical personnel to view and analyze the images being shown. Its imaging system can also automatically and accurately adjust to metal, motion, and varying anatomy. This automatic adjustment allows the HD to reduce the radiation dose received by the patient and the medical personnel. The scanned and videos images are stored using USB memory stick, transmitted to the PACS server using the DICOM, or printed using a small or large format printer. The OrthoScan HD can also be equipped with an encrypted wireless 802.11 communication system.
