The Philips Achieva 1.5T is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system designed to be used in hospitals and clinics for radiology applications. Equipped with Philips' time-tested technology, the Achieva 1.5T can deliver high-quality images which make it well-suited for a wide range of clinical applications such as abdominal, cardiac, spine, whole body, and orthopedics.
The Achieva 1.5T utilizes a magnet designed to provide high intrinsic homogeneity which is higher than 1.5 ppm. This technology is designed to use suppression methods such as the SPIR and SPAIR. The whole magnet system enables the Achieva to deliver high-quality image using the 53-cm field of view.
The Achieva is equipped with Philips' Nova High Performance (HP) gradient system, one of the leading gradient systems in existence. The Nova HP is configured to allow users to perform complex procedures which are ideally suited for today's advanced clinical applications.
The Achieva 1.5T also features Philips' MR WorkSpace. The MR WorkSpace is configured to provide standard storage to DVD can be included. Meanwhile, the computer system utilized by the Achieva 1.5T features a distributed architecture with separate processors for scanning, image reconstruction, and viewing.
